The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) is seeking a Project Assistant – Finance to provide support to the Associate Director, Finance & CFO across diverse projects and initiatives.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
You will be responsible for effectively monitoring the Associate Director, Finance & CFO’s tasks to ensure timely provision and providing administrative support in relation to day-to-day activities, including diary management, organising meetings and appointments, and fielding correspondence. Other key responsibilities include:
To be successful, you will have previous experience providing high quality administrative support coupled with a relevant tertiary degree. You have good knowledge and skills in office administration, including the ability to manage appointments and schedules, handle and prioritise correspondence, and organise files and information.
You can prepare briefs letters, emails and reports using clear, concise and grammatically correct language and use a polite and considerate manner when dealing with others. You have the ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information and material. You have excellent interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on tact and discretion.
Proficiency in MS Office products, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project, and experience with the Adobe suite, is required.
Recent Finance/Business graduates are encouraged to apply.
