The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) is seeking a Project Management Assistant to support the Project Management and Exhibition Design team in delivering exhibitions, programs, events, infrastructure, and architectural projects.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
You will be responsible for supporting the financial planning of projects including developing & monitoring budgets, forecasting spreadsheets, undertaking cost analysis and reporting to achieve the highest project performance within budget. Other key responsibilities include:
To be successful, you will have relevant tertiary qualification or industry experience relating to Project Management, Construction Management or Design. You have good knowledge and skills in project administration including the ability to manage appointments and schedules, handle and prioritise telephone calls and complex correspondence, and organise files and information. You can prepare briefs, letter, emails and reports using clear, concise and grammatically correct language; and use a polite and considerate manner when dealing with others. You have the ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information and material. You have excellent interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on tact and discretion.
Advanced Proficiency in MS Excel (Spreadsheets) and data input, analysis and reporting or proven experience in financial administration is advantageous.
